Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Program Manager 3 within the Aerospace Structures Business Unit to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Mission Assurance. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT and will support Special Programs in Clearfield, Iuka, MS, and Dayton, OH.
The primary objective will be as a dedicated leader for the Program Mission Assurance function across program locations. This leader will act as the primary customer contact and liaison for program Mission Assurance activities and facilitate Quality topics across sites, locations to assure customer needs are met, and issues are addressed with a coordinated approach.
The Program Manager for Mission Assurance is responsible for the following:
Coordinating the activities and deliverables of Mission Assurance leaders across sites to assure products, suppliers, vendors, higher-level managers, and external Customers are in sync and collaborating on Mission Assurance risks and opportunities. Assisting in the definition, planning, organizing, directing and controlling of quality related risk, and opportunity management efforts.
Establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to Quality plans and schedules, prioritizing Mission Assurance teams assigned to the program across sites as needed to meet customer commitments. Assessing program performance, and determining resources to ensure Mission Assurance.
Defining and monitoring Mission Assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of program. Oversee and manage the compliance aspects of program requirements and serves as liaison between site Quality teams and customer site representatives. Developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and escalation when required. Leading program review sessions with customer to discuss Quality performance.
Aligning metrics across ASBU sites with customer metric expectations. Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Assuring quality, risk management, safety, subcontractors, and suppliers are executing scope in accordance with Mission Assurance contractual requirements. Focal point for site qualifications and special process certifications to customer specifications as applicable.
Developing, maintaining and ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and customer guidelines. Providing expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and customer guidelines to assure compliance. May serve as liaison between the company and the various customer and governmental agencies. Coordinating responses and updates to any customer or government corrective actions or audit findings.
Coordinating Mission Assurance related proposals and proposal work statements. Participating in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Acts as Quality liaison between customers and ASBU teams. Supporting program office as primary Quality representative.
Directly leads a technical quality customer site field representative and other support resources

Must have a Bachelor's Degree AND 10 years of related professional experience that includes a background in Project/Program Management, OR a Master's degree and 8 years of related professional experience that includes a background in Project/Program Management, OR 14 years of related professional experience that includes a background in Project/Program Management in lieu of a degree.
Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher) that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years).
Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR), within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
