Production Supervisors are responsible for supervision of production department and employees to ensure safe and non-stop production in the facility. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Educates and directs personnel on the use of all safety control points, equipment, and housekeeping expectations Coordinate production by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress on production rates, revising schedules, resolving problems Reports results of shift production accurately daily Develop and implement improvements to the company standard operating procedures Review product quality and monitors inventory of raw materials and packaging components Inspect and monitor all equipment and machinery. Assist the maintenance department with Preventative Maintenance coordination and equipment problems- repairs Assists in coordinating dryer operations Provides training for production personnel as needed Supervisory Responsibilities Train, promote, and discipline employees Insure all safety rules are followed and employee follow safety program Supervise employees in department to ensure they meet our quality standards Supervise employees in department to ensure our housekeeping standards are met Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements - Education - Experience Minimum three months related experience Supervision, coaching, process improvement, production planning, controls and instrumentation, dealing with deadlines Must be able to work on equipment using tools Ability to effectively work in a relatively independent manner Ability to motivate and organize labor with an awareness for safety considerations Ability to supervise multiple tasks concurrently Must have basic computer skills Physical Environment Ability to lift up to 100 pounds Endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling Walking and standing for long periods of time.
