The Facility Operations Supervisor supports several different functions in the facility including plant operations, compliance and proper warehousing.Key Responsibilities:.and.nbsp;* Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all time.and.nbsp;* Actively participates in the full recruitment cycle and oversees the training and orientation of all personnel.and.nbsp;* Manages employee relations, disciplinary issues and terminations of personnel with assistance from the appropriate HR representative and processes payroll.and.nbsp;* Ensures that supervised operations- employees understand and have ownership for area specific permit required compliance standards.and.nbsp;* Works under the direction of the Facility General Manager.and.nbsp;* Reviews all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and makes adjustments as required;.and.nbsp;* Understands and drives Clean Compliance Standard.and.nbsp;* Acts as a Community Liaison.and.nbsp;* Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.Qualifications:.and.nbsp;* High school diploma or equivalent.and.nbsp;* Must have computer knowledge with proficiency in Windows based applications.and.nbsp;* 3+ years of previous plant experience.and.nbsp;* Bachelors' Degree in Science or Communications is an asset.and.nbsp;* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.and.nbsp;* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast changing environment.Clean Harbors is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout United States and Canada, as well as Mexico and Puerto Rico.
