Job Opening: Frozen Food Production Shift:1st Shift- 6:30am-4:00pm2nd Shift- 4:15pm-1:15amLocation: OgdenPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for performing all duties in the repack department..and.nbsp; These duties include but are not limited to tote-bin breakdown, case stacking, product casing, case forming and clean-up.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Maintain a clean and safe workstation by properly sweeping up and disposing of all waste product, wood, cardboard and packaging material.2. Maintain a constant supply of product cases.3. Inspect the finished product to ensure proper quality, and then put the correct number of bags in each case.4. Stack each finished case in the appropriate position and height pattern assigned to that item.5. Breakdown, stack and band the empty bulk bins for shipment to other facilities.6. Maintain regular and consistent attendance.7. Follow all safety guidelines set forth by company and plant policies and managers.8. Follows all Company policies and procedures, which include SOP's, Employee Handbook, Food Safety and Quality Procedures, Food Quality Policies, GMP Handbook, HACCP, and Pictsweet Safety Procedures.9. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSMust be able to read or interpret documents such as safety rules- signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures..and.nbsp;EDUCATIONPrefer high school diploma or GED, but not required.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position will work primarily in a cold environment (approximately 32 degrees) with consistent loud noise.PHYSICAL DEMANDS.and.bull; Consistently lift and-or move up to 35 pounds..and.bull; Stand for prolonged periods..and.bull; Work effectively in cold environment for up to 10 hours..and.bull; Climb and descend steep stairs to the hoppers or mezzanine..and.bull; Bend, stoop, and crouch on a regular basis..and.bull; Consistent repetitive motion involving wrists, hands, fingers, and shoulders..and.bull; Visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and quality of assigned work.
