Waters SAP Production Planner in Lindon, Utah

Our Production Planner is responsible for production planning activities and coordinating jobs and material flow to satisfy demand to fulfill the Manufacturing plan.

  • Monitor forecast/ master plan/ delivery, production schedule and yield.

  • Timely input data and maintain accuracy in MRP system, stock movement and WIP.

  • Coordinate and liaise with Demand Planning, Purchasing, and Production Staff.

  • Monitor and implement ECO changes at the instrument, assembly, and component level.

  • Work with NPI Project Managers to implement and support new product introductions.

  • implement and drive Process improvement activities by the use of Lean and structured problem solving.

  • Utilize SAP / APO Develop and manage weekly Production Schedules from a capacity feasibility and execution standpoint

  • Forecast Management and Development/maintenance of Build Plan/Production Schedule

  • Coordinate weekly Inventory management via our Cycle Count process.

  • Effectively manage products across their entire life cycle from NPI to EOL

  • Identify inventory goals and manage inventory levels through identification of inventory reduction opportunities

  • Participate and, where applicable, lead cross functional process improvement activities

  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indexes

  • Communicate/escalate issues to Upper Management

  • Degree in Supply Chain / Business with 2+ years of Production Planning experience.

  • SAP experience is essential and experience with SAP APO is preferred.

  • Strong leadership and communications skills required with the ability to operate at all levels within an organization.

  • Prior experience in mechanical/electrical instrument manufacturing preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills, system savvy with familiarity with Windows based applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
