This position may provide input or recommendations to supervisory personnel on hiring and performance assessment. They are responsible for execution of the day-to-day requirements of the shipping, receiving, stocking, inventory accuracy, incoming inspection and material distribution roles.Reads work procedures and provides instruction to others as required to effectively lead areaProvides clearly defined goals and feedback to personnelEffectively manage resources to consistently achieve productivity goals in assigned areaEffectively manage work requirements in the logistics area to achieve customer satisfactionCollaborates with other leads and shares best-demonstrated practicesTeamwork, respects others’ ideas and contributionsPrepare materials for shipment involving all models of transportation (LTL, TL, ocean & airfreight)Creates excitement and drives engagementEnsures a smooth transition between shift via a comprehensive verbal pass down with peersCommunicates effectively and consistently utilizing both verbal and visual media to define the goals and objectives and foster a culture focused on continuous improvementMonitoring the requirements and adjusting workloads and resources appropriately to maximize efficiency and meet required productivity goalsMonitoring, reporting and investigating defectsIdentify and communication deviations to appropriate stakeholders. Work collaboratively with stakeholder on root cause analysis and resolutionAssisting in implementation of process improvements to increase quality and productivity levelsOther duties as assigned, and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teamsParticipates in quality control inspections when requiredComply with EHS regulations and policiesQuality Specific GoalsAware of and comply with the Cytiva Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. Monitoring and escalating QA/RA and EHS procedures and policies as required Ensuring QMS documentation and procedures used in the various processes are of the correct and most current revisionWho you areHigh school diploma or local equivalent5 or more years of manufacturing or distribution experienceAbility to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performedAbility to provide instructions regarding policies and proceduresCapable of working in extreme cold conditions (-20 ̊ C/-4 ̊ F) on a regular basisForklift certification or ability to become certifiedAble to work the stated shift hoursAbility to consistently lift up to 75 poundsDesired Characteristics1 or more years of group leader experiencePrevious experience with Oracle and Master ControlSix Sigma Green belt or higherBasic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing PrinciplesWho we areWhatever your role, we bring purpose and challenge into our everyday work.
