Manufacturing Supervisor - ImagingManufacturingLogan, UT andbull; ID: 49201 andbull;Full-Time-RegularPOSITION SUMMARY: The Imaging Supervisor has Supervisory responsibility for all Imaging areas. This position develops long and short-range business plans relating to growth, equipment, staff, business processes, and new products that drive efficiency and profitability. This position ensures the timely delivery of quality products for these areas.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS1. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Electronic Imaging areas by maintaining procedures and policies, coaching subordinate supervisors and associates, establishing priorities and department objectives.2. Communicates with supervision and associates regarding business priorities, changes, process improvements, general department performance, and other important news in order to keep associates informed.3. Administers company policies relating to the Electronic Imaging areas. Manages costs, including overtime, general labor and materials in order to drive profitability for the company.4. Participates in the selection and recommendation of equipment for the work area by developing a day to day relationship with vendors and internal staff to ensure that the proper equipment is purchased and maintained.5. Manages the performance review process within the department using performance management tools, objective setting tools in order to provide feedback to associates and to help them progress and develop in their careers. Establishes valuable department objectives.6. Assist with the preparation of PARs and justifies new equipment based on capacity issues and growth.7. Conducts production meetings and attends frequent management meetings.8. Assists in the preparation of the annual and quarterly budgets for the Electronic Imaging and areas to ensure adequate and efficient utilization of resources.9. Resolves escalated production, Distribution and Inventory issues.OTHER POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES1. Coordinates with Human Resources to develop training and educational programs for the associates, and to resolve employee relation issues.2. Bachelor's degree in a Business or Production related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.2. Knowledge of Industry products and technologies.3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.4. Successful leadership experience.5. Strong problem-solving skills.6. Excellent Interpersonal skills.7.
