What you’ll doThe Process Maintenance Supervisor will lead the process maintenance team by setting work schedules and assigning work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, calibrations or small projects to technicians. Reviews and approves completed work orders, calibrations and room certifications. Performs a full range of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment, measurement equipment, validation equipment, set-up instrumentation, electronic repair, maintenance and certification of clean rooms and controlled areas.
Champion lean culture i.e. 5S, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Tier Meeting
Oversee preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, and unscheduled maintenance for production and laboratory equipment.
Supervise and perform certification of clean rooms and controlled areas including, repair and maintenance of HEPA filter units in clean rooms, laminar flow and biological safety cabinets.
Troubleshoot all assigned equipment problems and monitor operation of equipment
Supervises maintenance team covering first, second, and third shift
Review work orders and assign to technicians
Review completed work orders, calibration PM’s and room certifications documents to ensure work was performed properly
Maintain all documentation in a state of control
Write, update and follow all procedures for the use and maintenance of facility equipment and utilities
Complete all required paperwork i.e. work orders, inventory requests, purchase requisitions, etc.
Keep current in calibration and maintenance technology
Presents calibration and preventative maintenance programs to customers during audits
Manages calibration program for all production and laboratory equipment. Updates calibration procedures
Working conditions can include: noisy environment, exposure to extreme temperatures (i.e. heat and cold), hazardous conditions, high places, chemical exposure, electrical current, moving machinery, steam systems, ultraviolet light exposure, fumes, odors and dust.
Stooping, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and crawling
Lifting 150+ pounds

Who you are
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
At least 3 years of experience as a technician involved with mechanical, electrical, electronics, and PLC’s, preferably in a manufacturing environment
2 years’ experience in Metrology, Engineering, or Maintenance fields
Knowledge of cGMP’s, change control processes, FDA-regulated industry documentation practices
May be required to work extra hours, weekends and holidays as needed
Some travel may be necessary to sites outside of the United States
Knowledge of safety standards and equipment i.e., lockout tagout, confined spaces, etc.
Knowledge of temperature, humidity, pressure, flow rate time; need to calibrate a variety of temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, time, mass, electronic and physical dimension measuring equipment.

2 years previous supervisory experience in the pharmaceutical maintenance field and/or facilities equipment areas

Able to handle stressful situations and prioritize multiple projects or tasks
