Our job is to supply the tools and services - the pots, pans, soups and sauces - they need to work better, faster and safer, leading to better patient outcomes.What you’ll doThe Process Maintenance Technician supports the preventative maintenance program by carrying out effective maintenance routines, repairs and calibrations to prolong the useful life and optimise the efficiency of production equipment.Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance on production equipmentPerform calibrations on equipmentSupport production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targetsPerform certification of production cleanrooms and controlled areasPromote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and maintenance best practiceDesign and fabricate parts and small systemsInstall and monitor new equipmentAlways maintain safety and regulatory equipment and report any defectsMaintain a log of activities carried out on equipment i.e. hours works, spare parts used etc. Using the site CMMSEnsure that maintenance cover for production areas is provided at all times by demonstrating flexibility regarding working overtime to provide cover for holidays, sick leave, shutdown periods, busy periods and as requiredEnsure compliance to all aspects of the Company’s health, Safety and Environmental procedures are maintainedProvide support to the utilities function to ensure that production critical utility supply is always maintainedEnsure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices requirements maintained by the companyAll employees are responsible for minimizing both the Environmental and Health & Safety effects of the work that they perform.Work closely and interact with the other groups within the Engineering and Operations departmentsComply with EHS regulations and policiesQuality Specific GoalsAware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming and rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that the product conforms to its specification Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely recordsWho you are2-year degree in electronics, metrology, industrial maintenance or equivalent experience2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, metrology or related fieldsStrong electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skillsGeneral skills and expertise related to maintenance and facilities activitiesDemonstrate levels of theoretical knowledge with practical applicationRelevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and cGMPBasic computer skillsPhysical RequirementsFrequently move, lift, carry, push or pull weights up to 50 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift/move weights greater than 50 pounds with assistanceFrequently climb stairs and laddersFrequently squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn, pivot and reachFrequently use fingers or hands to grasp, clamp, move, finger, handle and feel small objectsAbility to continuously stand or walkWho we areWhatever your role, we bring purpose and challenge into our everyday work.
