Danaher Corporation Production Lead (2nd Shift, Single Use) in Logan, Utah

Our job is to supply the tools and services - the pots, pans, soups and sauces - they need to work better, faster and safer, leading to better patient outcomes.What you’ll doThe Production Lead is responsible for directing the day-to-day work in the assigned area. They may provide input or recommendations to supervisory personnel on hiring, performance assessment and discipline. They are responsible for execution of the daily, weekly and monthly forecasted production priorities required to meet output quotas and group performance goals.

  • Reads work procedures and schematics, and provides instruction to others when required

  • Audit that required tools are available and in good working order and escalate if additional action is required

  • Monitoring the daily production flow and adjusting workloads and resources appropriately

  • Ensuring all necessary components are present to complete production

  • Monitoring, reporting and investigating defects

  • Assisting in implementation of process improvements to increase quality and productivity levels

  • Monitoring and escalating QA/RA and EHS procedures and policies as required

  • Ensuring manufacturing documentation used during the production process is of the correct and most current revision

  • Checking and review of final product paperwork for completion and accuracy

  • Other duties as assigned, and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams

  • Participates in quality control inspections when required

  • Comply with EHS regulations and policies

Quality Specific Goals

  • Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  • Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming and rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that the product conforms to its specification

  • Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records

  • Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices, as associated with this job type/position

Who you are

  • High school diploma or local equivalent

  • 2-3 years of related manufacturing experience

  • Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed

  • Ability to provide instructions regarding policies and procedures

Desired Characteristics

  • Associates degree in chemistry, biology or related field

  • Experience in LM/Serum/DPM production

  • Prior leadership experience

  • Prior experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment

  • Previous experience in GMP work environment
