SUPERVISOR: Fab Shop Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Tends Fabricating machines such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, breaks, presses, forming machines, spinning machines and punch, cut, shape and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes and structures by performing the following duties.
-Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
-Operates Fab shop and machine shop equipment.
-Observes machine operation to detect workplace defects or machine malfunction.
-Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from workplace.
-Set up and/or perform maintenance on fab and machine shops as needed.
-performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Be at least 18 years old.
Dependable/on time are a MUST!!
A clean driving record and no moving violations within the past three years.
Previous experience welding or fabricating is a must.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and co-workers.
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
forklift, hardhat, steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, gloves, and any other safety equipment as needed.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
