Responsibilities *Able to set-up and operate manual machines, lathes, surface grinders and manual jig bore machines with minimal supervision *Can read and follow set-up sheets, operation sheets, blueprints, programs and-or drawings *Meet production deadlines by following manufacturing schedules and procedures *Be able to troubleshoot and offer suggestions on how to resolve machining concerns *Uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments *Able to make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measures, marks and scribes' dimensions and reference points *Able to set and use all standard measuring instruments *Ability to program, edit and modify programs as needed *Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or VIPQualifications *Completion of a formal apprenticeship or 2 years' experience in manufacturing environment *Mathematical Skills *Mechanical Skills *Detail Oriented *Time Management Skills *Ability to read and interpret blueprints *Knowledge of technical functions *Knowledge of computer skills *Ability to work well within a team as well as individually *Ability to communicate effectivelyTriumph Group and all its divisions and subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employers.
