SkyWest Airlines Flight Operations Supervisor - SLC in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Primary Job Duties

General supervision of pilots assigned to SLC

  • Must be knowledgeable on the contents of all Flight Operations Manuals, FARs

  • Participate in pilot and new hire briefings

  • Conduct crewmember performance appraisals/reviews

  • Monitor Probationary Pilot performance and professional development

  • Support Flight Operations and Training/Standards Departments

  • Assure pilot compliance with FARs and company policies

  • Communicate domicile information pilots

  • Promote safety, SMS, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance and communication

  • Coordinate with other departments, as required

  • Monitor Flight Operations performance data

  • Monitor crewmember reliability

  • Attend industry meetings as appropriate

  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Captain, or previous command/leadership experience required

  • Management or Supervisory experience is preferred

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Periodic standing, lifting, and bending.

  • Current FAA Pilot Medical (preferred)
