This position is responsible for providing Inventory Control – such as putting away, storing and pulling material from inventory from all areas in the stock room in support of manufacturing build schedules. This position is also responsible for following established procedures to maintain Area Compliance (FOD, ESD, Housekeeping). This position also performs weekly cycle counts and is responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of inventory accuracy.

  • Pulling parts, fulfilling and kitting Orders for the manufacturing floor

  • Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.

  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand

  • Conveys materials using, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.

  • Tracking Orders for all Operations Assembly Areas

  • Understanding of material Shelf Life and maintaining accurate inventory and records

  • Performs weekly cycle counts

  • Researching lost or found parts

  • Being conversant in SAP preferred—navigate tool, provide historical data

  • Showing a technical aptitude for learning new equipment and processes

  • Having excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • Being flexible, punctual, and self-motivated

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Periodically exposed to potentially hazardous conditions including extreme heat/cold, noise levels, lasers, electricity, radiation, machinery and equipment, toxic substances, chemicals, acids, gases, oils, flammables, and toxic metals. Occasionally required to perform work at an elevated location; ability to ascend/descend on ladders, balance, and work in high areas. Lift up to 40 pounds. Warehouseexperience utilizing established procedures that properly store material, witha clear understanding of guidelines for proper storage in regard totemperature, humidity, weight and heights limits. Knowledge of filling materialrequirements and/or manufacturing orders, utilizing computer systems, preferablySAP, while maintaining accurate Inventory
