Quality Assurance Shop Floor Ultradent, the global name in oral health is seeking a Quality Assurance Shop Floor (QASF) to join OraTech's Quality Assurance team (a division of Ultradent). QASF is responsible for inspecting goods manufactured at Oratech during production to ensure they meet customer and regulatory requirements. The QASF works in a manufacturing environment This is a 12-hour rotating shift with working hours from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and includes working every other Fri, Sat, and Sun. In our toothpaste division our focus is Safety, Quality, then Delivery Job Duties: *Perform In-Process Checks hourly in a manufacturing environment to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met *Complete and review controlled documentation for accuracy and completeness according to cGDP *Pull samples of material to be lab tested *Communicate quality critical events to machine operators and management *Make quality critical decisions in a fast-paced environment *Track and trend quality assurance actions *Perform investigations into quality events *Generate reports that can be shared with management *Adheres to gowning and safety requirements *Other tasks and duties as assigned WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: *Attention to detail *Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks, with little to no supervision. *An understanding of cGMP's to ensure proper documentation and process practices in an operations environment. *Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel *Experience with QMS and ERP systems *The ability to learn new programs and software when required. *Ability to communicate effectively (email, in-person, etc.) including collaboration with multiple departments and management. *Ability to stand for long periods of time *Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: *Prior experience in a manufacturing environment *Experience within a quality assurance is preferred *Problem solving skills in a high paced and fast changing environment *Ability to adapt to changes *Ability to multitask *Strong verbal and writing skills *Strong attention to detail WHAT BENEFITS AND PERKS YOU'LL GET AT ULTRADENT: *Medical/Dental and Other Insurances (eligible the first of month after 60 days) *Health Savings Account with Employer contribution *401k plus match *On-site cafe (breakfast and lunch) and fitness center *Employee access to discounted Ultradent products *Five days paid time off between Christmas and New Years *Education Assistance Ultradent is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
