Job Description

LMA

  • Leadership: Provide vision, clarity, and openings for direct reports that align with company vision

  • Management: Provide quarterly priorities and measurables for each direct report aligned to company priorities and Scorecard

  • Accountability: Maintain and deepen connections with each direct report, having quarterly conversations around performance to company core values and position roles

  • Ensure direct reports have resources, training, and other needed assets to successfully execute their roles

  • Hire, coach, provide feedback to maximize employee engagement

  • When necessary, recommend employee discipline and termination per HR process

Roles

  • Optimize manhours to be less than budget

  • Ensure skilled crews are assigned and onsiteEnsure personnel know exact daily completion expectations

  • Maintain up to date understanding of project budgets per crew

  • Schedule materials to meet project schedules

  • Know project schedules

  • Schedule Subcontractors to meet project schedules

  • Read, understand, and apply plans and specifications which have been approved in the submittal process in the field

Documentation

  • Accurately clock in and out electronically daily via KeyStyle

  • Ensure personnel turn in safety Think Forms daily

  • Turn in weekly corrective action (Near Miss) reports

  • Ensure personnel turn in weekly corrective recommendation reports

  • Turn in daily reports

  • Complete tool inspection reports

Complete Assigned Training's

  • Weekly Toolbox topics

  • Daily job-specific safety meeting

  • Quarterly assigned Red Vector training

Meet and Exceed Quality and Safety Requirements

  • Ensure quality in all work

  • Keep equipment clean

  • Report equipment damage to the superintendent and electronically.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform Assigned Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure the concrete poured is level

  • Work on a crew of 3-8

  • Arrange the concrete forms

  • Spread concrete

  • Prepare surface with hammer and chose

  • Rub cement in with sponge-rubber float or burlap

  • Level it uses special blades, making sure all lumps and bubbles are smoothed over

  • Use wood or plastic forms to shape the concrete and hold it until it is set

  • Smooth high spots and fill depressions

  • Make concrete beams, columns, and panels

  • Wash away excess concrete

  • Apply latex and epoxy to floors

  • Use machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets

  • Use grooving and hand trowels to spread concrete

  • Prepare the base

  • Cut pavers

  • Install masonry according to specifications

  • Pour sand in as filler

  • Use chemical additives to speed up drying process if necessary

  • Perform Assigned Tasks

  • Successfully read and understand project drawings

  • Understand and meet budget and schedule requirements

  • Ensure final Quality Appearance

  • Keep boards picked up off the ground

  • Stack and Clean Forms

  • Load and Clean Tools

Training

  • OSHA 10 Hour

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibrations. The noise level is generally quiet while driving, but loud once in the field.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull-Time position. 40 hours minimum with overtime every week. Normal schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7 AM- 5 PM, depending on work demands. Occasional Saturdays may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $26.00/hour or more depending on experience.
