Great timing for candidates looking to start a long-term career with a growing company.PRODUCTION PAINTERSHIFT: 3:00 pm - 12:00 amSalary: $14.50 - $15.50 after 60 days will increase to $1.00JOB DESCRIPTIONCreative Mines is looking for production line painters. For our veneer stone facility located in Tooele facility.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability required. Training will be provided.Objective:Positioned to be responsible for ensuring all cavities in each mold that passes through a production line possess adequate application of color- pigment in relation to provided profile recipes and tinting techniques.Essential Job Functions:Participate on a daily warm up.Be able to stand for long period of time.Ability to read English or Spanishresponsible for obtaining essential daily production information by referencing pour lists, coordinating with supervisor or line leader, and studying recipe book.Will prep area in accordance with production runs by stocking tint shakers and obtaining necessary tools and materials for proper tint application.Responsible for application of pigment colors and color per mold percentage sequence to meet recipe adhere and exceed quality standards.Responsible for alerting supervisor, line leader and or QC of color that does not meet company wide standards.Must utilize techniques for application of dry pigment via shaking prefabricated containers with wrist and hand to achieve various intensities of color.Other Job Functions:Clearing dried overpour from top and inside of mold to prevent from possible defects and stacking issues.Adequate handling of prefabricated shakers to ease in replenishing and reusability.Eradicate any molds which could cause defects within finished product.Perform other job functions as assigned by the manager in an ever changing and improving department.Perform other general clean-up duties to help maintain a clean and safe facility.Skills, Knowledge , Abilities:This is a skilled position, it is mandatory for employee to learn production procedures, memorize recipes and techniques and demonstrate knowledge regarding product and raw materials.Must be able to recognize mold types ad distinguish various pigment colors.Must be able to read from formula and follow precise directions to accurately capture profile colors.Must be quality minded and posses the ability to mind minor details.Physical Environment:Must tolerate working environment with outside temperature as well as inside amient temperatures.Manufacturing environment including noise and dust.Exposure to cement and chemicals contained in pigments.Job function requires near-far-depth-color vision.Physical Requirements:Ability to remain upright with constant movement and lifting for extended periods of time.Must be able to utilize hand held tools- shakers with continuous pressure and motions for up to 8 hours.Must be able to vertically - horizontally carry materials- molds weighting up to fifty pounds without mechanical assistance.Must be able to grip - squeeze hose nozzle with up to eight pounds of pressure for four hours.Evaluation:Attendance, dependability, productivity and quality of work performed.Adherence to all OSHA safety policies and procedures.Willingness to take direction and adhere to company policies.Knowledge of job.Will be evaluated on ability to work as team member and develop rapport with all manager, supervisors, and line leaders.Demonstrates ability to follow recipes- formulas and excursive profile recognition with accuracy.
